Home prices are surging by double-digit percentages annually, but deals can still be found in pockets throughout the country.

Realtor.com®’s research team recently conducted a study to find out where. They searched listings in 150 of the largest metro areas to find which ones had the most homes for sale at $100,000 or less. That is significantly lower than the national median asking price, which was $340,000 in December, according to realtor.com® data. “Homes that are $100,000 or less aren’t exactly common,” says Danielle Hale, realtor.com®’s chief economist.

The following is realtor.com®’s list of the seven markets with the most listings for $100,000 or lower. Only one metro per state was included for geographic diversity. The metros reflected include the city and surrounding towns, suburbs, and smaller urban areas.
